Join ‘the’ Club for Advanced Pilots
The IMC Club is a membership-based, non- Profit 501(c)(3) organization focused on instrument rated pilots and flight instructors, with a network of chapters throughout the nation. The Acadiana Chapter of the IMC Club aims to carry out the mission of IMC’s national headquarters, which is to create a community of pilots in order to share information, provide recognition, foster communications, promote safety and build proficiency in instrument flying.
IMC Clubs do this by identifying local instrument flight “missions,” which members fly and then debrief at bi-weekly chapter meetings.
Chapter members participate in these bi-weekly meetings to learn more about IFR flying with the opportunity to share their knowledge and expertise. “Missions” also have ranks that can be attained with the level of the missions accomplishment. Membership in our club entitles you to added benefits and access to our extensive knowledge data base, along with allowing you to connect with a network of pilots. Local IMC meetings, held quarterly, are open to the public. To find out more please contact us at Acadian Pilot.
